Privacy Policy

This is the plain-English version, because you should be able to read it. The Pickleball Personality Test is run by ThatPickleballSchool. If anything here is unclear, email support@thatpickleballbrand.com and a real person will answer.

What we collect

When you take the test, we collect:

  • Your first name, and the gender, age range, and DUPR range you select
  • Your answers to the 20 questions, and how long you spent on each one
  • Your email address, if you choose to unlock your report
  • Basic visit information: whether you are on a phone or a computer, which link or ad brought you here, and the pages you viewed

This website never asks for your phone number, address, date of birth, or payment details.

If you go on to start a trial at ThatPickleballSchool, that happens on Skool, a separate company with its own privacy policy. Skool and their payment processor handle your card details. We never see or store them.

Why we collect it

  • To calculate your result and show you your report
  • To email you a copy of your report, and follow-up coaching emails
  • To improve the test by seeing which questions confuse people
  • To measure whether our ads work

Who else sees it

We use a small number of companies to run this. Each sees only what it needs:

  • Supabase stores your responses and result.
  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) sends the emails, and holds your email address, first name, and result.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives advertising measurement data. See the next section.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

Advertising and the Meta Pixel

If you are visiting from the United States or Canada, this site uses the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta when someone views a page, starts the test, finishes it, unlocks a report, or clicks through to our school. That lets us measure whether our ads work and show ads to people who have visited before.

Meta receives your result type (for example, “rock”) and which pages you viewed. Meta does not receive your name, your email address, or your individual answers from this website.

If you are visiting from outside the United States and Canada, the pixel is not loaded at all and nothing about your visit is sent to Meta.

You can limit ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and most browsers let you block this kind of script entirely. The test works normally either way.

Emails

If you unlock your report, we email it to you and follow up with coaching emails related to your result. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and we stop. You can unsubscribe and still keep your report link.

How long we keep it

We keep quiz responses so we can improve the test, and your email for as long as you are subscribed. Ask us to delete your data and we will, including your quiz responses.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it
  • Email support@thatpickleballbrand.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted
  • California residents: we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You can still email us to request access or deletion.

Children

This test is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.

This page explains our actual practices in plain language. It is not legal advice.
